"Be Still and know that I am God."
-Ps 46
During a Holy Hour, you come into the Presence of Jesus. Being there in His presence is one of the most powerful and fruitful ways to spend an hour. Even in a few short moments of this silent presence to the Lord is a precious treasure. The Lord speaks to us in this silence. In those moments, He ministers to us with His healing, merciful love. If you feel a desire to pray, read, write or sing, then allow yourself to move naturally into whatever activity you feel led to do. Reading the Scriptures is always appropriate and many people like to pray the Rosary, or Divine Mercy Chaplet, or make the Stations of the Cross. Just know that you don't have to say any particular prayer or read any particular scripture. All you have to do is be present to the One who is present to you.
